I was able to make a couple short trips out with my Treps and they seemed to work great once I went from 9 to 5 psi but I dont know if they are going to last longer then my krawlers, in one trip they rounded off faster then almost a half season of running on my full bodied LJ. Based on how they worked, i'd take a 37" sticky over a 42" non sticky I just haven't seen much feedback on the 43" Sticky from Interco and would hate to get a bigger tire with less traction that what i currently have.and i SO LOVE those Treppadors that i'd really be pissed if i got a tire that didn't work nearly as well. One person in our group made the comment before we started "you're going to be wrecked once you run those 42's, you'll never want to go back to a 40 even in a sticky". I was utterly disgusted with how the 42x14.5-15 TSL's from the rental performed on boulder canyon last week. The TSL SX Sticky is roughly the same price as the Maxxis, so for me it's about performance. There's no question that the maxxis will outlast the krawlers as far as number of wheeling trips, so the addtional $400 for the Maxxis is money well spent from my point of view for my style of wheeling. no burping on the inner bead but my lock nuts kept loosening up and I had to stop and tighten them from time to time. i ran 7 lbs in the front and 5lbs in the rear. ![]() I can buy a set of Red Label Krawler for around $2,600 new and a set of Maxxis Trepps for $3,000. the sticky 43s are super :grinpimp: i got caught up in a pinch rock and the tires kept climbing and ultimately broke the welds on my slider that was hung. Having run enough different tires of the years, i've learned that it's not always about price. ![]()
